Race Start

  • Friday March 14th 6:00pm – Vertical

    • 1 Division
    • Race Stats: TBD Expect 1500’-2100’ of nearly all on piste climbing
    • Race Entry: $20
    • Mandatory Gear – TBD

    Saturday March 15th 8:00am- Individual

    • Race Division Stats: ~5,500′ climbing, 10 miles
    • Rec Division Stats: ~3,500′, 6.2 miles
    • Race Entry: $70
    • Rec Division: $45

    Sunday March 16th– Teams/Pairs

    • 1 Division – Teams of 2
    • Race Stats: 8,600′, 14 miles
    • Race Entry: $70 per person / $140 per team

Register for all 3 events for $150 per person

Who / What / Mandatory Meetings :

Mandatory gear for Race Division at Individual & Teams race:
Working beacon, probe, shovel, backpack, windshell, helmet, via ferrata kit (must have shock absorber and two lanyards & two carabineers), one additional lanyard, one hand ascender,  ( 3 total locking carabineers ), harness

Mandatory gear for Rec Division Individual & Teams race:
Working beacon, probe, shovel, backpack, windshell, helmet

Mandatory gear for Vertical Race:
Skis, bindings, poles, skins, headlamp (course will not be lighted!)

Maps of course will be published closer to race week.

The entire weekend will be accompanied by Backcountry Magazine’s Basecamp Tour.  Please plan to bring your friends/family as there will be a lot of activites for all of your group to participate in.  More details to follow, but info about the Basecamp Tour can be found here:
